From our humble beginnings as a corner shop in Jawahar Bazar in the mid-1980s to the iconic Navamani Tea Stall in Anna Nagar in the early 1990s, Kongu Mess has grown and flourished, all thanks to the unwavering faith and affection of the local community.
In the year 1993, we embraed the name Kongu Mess, marking a significant milestone in our culinary voyage. With the establishment of our first official outlet that year, we embarked on a mission to bring the authentic tastes of South India to the hearts and palates of our beloved customers.

We have always been committed to providing a great experience. In 2010, we expanded our horizons further by opening our second outlet in Karur Paramathi. Our signature had been our unique ‘All in One Place’ business model encompassing a restaurant, banquet hall, coffee shop, bakery, sweets and snacks shop, fruit and retail store. This comprehensive approach has attracted over 5,000 daily walk-in consumers who have become part of our extended Kongu Mess family.
